Project 925

Ambassador Meetup | July 18 | SF | Shikha R.

"American women of working age are the most educated ever. Yet it’s the most educated women who face the biggest gender gaps in seniority and pay: At the top of their fields, they represent just 5 percent of big company chief executives and a quarter of the top 10 percent of earners in the United States." -NY Times, 2019

It's more important than ever for women to get together, support one another and change these stats. That's why we're hosting this event - for you to build a professional tribe and chat about your careers in a safe and supportive environment.

Is a professional tribe the same as a network?

No. Networks unfortunately have a negative association with give/take relationships. That's not how we view professional tribes. The main goal of your tribe is to carve out the time to have a career focused conversation and support one another. Chat about your goals and how to reach them or about your challenges and how to overcome them. Your tribe is truly your support group for the journey ahead as a professional woman.

  • Date: Thursday, July 18th
  • Time: 6pm - 7:30pm
  • Location: Address will be emailed to you after you purchase your ticket
  • Snacks provided: Light apps and drinks

What should I expect?
  • An opportunity to get to know some awesome women in an intimate and welcoming environment
  • An activity about your life goals led by a Project 925 Ambassador
  • Ideas on how to build and spend time with your tribe

What is Project 925?

Project 925 is a destination for professional style. Our mission is to help young professional women feel confident in the clothes they wear, the work they're doing, and the path they’ve chosen. Our hope is that these events will help you build a tribe of professional women with meaningful and supportive relationships.

Why are we charging for the event?

Since it's a small group, a few no-shows makes a big difference to the quality of the conversation. This is our way to have seats reserved for women who will attend. All is not lost - at the event you'll receive a $10 credit for Project 925.
